The Hustle and the Remix squared off for the second straight night in Rip City, splitting wins in the two-day stand in Portland. The Hustle took the first game after a late comeback on Monday evening, with the Remix delivering a very personal 26-point blowout on Tuesday evening for revenge. With this loss, the Hustle fall to 12–13 on the season.
The Remix protected their homecourt in this match after fumbling a late game lead to this same Hustle squad the previous evening. This time around, they won by a very dominant 26 points, leaving no room for questions. Kevin Knox II once again delivered a masterclass with 33 points, nine boards, and four assists, including eight three-pointers on twelve attempts. Taze Moore also provided a solid performance for Rip City with 22 points, seven assists, and four boards.
Memphis came into this one with dead legs and was playing from behind off the jump. The Hustle trailed in all four quarters and failed to outscore Rip City in any quarter. The Hustle were out-scored, out-assisted, and out-rebounded in this one, as well as letting the Remix shoot 53% from the field on the evening. They trailed in nearly every statistical category on Monday evening, a tough break for a squad that just defeated the same team the night before. Not all was bad; Deeky Jarreau popped off for 29 points, seven rebounds, and six assists while leading the team in scoring. Lucas Williamson led all bench scoring with 15 points on 55% shooting.
The Hustle will be back in action live from California as they take on the South Bay Lakers for the first time this season as they look to get back to .500 on the season. The tip will be live at 9:00 p.m. CDT.
The game will be available for viewing on ESPN+.
