Ja Morant suspended by the Grizzlies once again
Morant was apparently seen in another social media post holding a firearm.

Early Sunday morning another video of Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant apparently holding a gun went viral on social media. A short time later, the Memphis Grizzlies responded.
This of course is the second time Morant has been seen on a social media platform apparently brandishing a firearm. The first time, which occurred back in March, ultimately resulted in an eight-game suspension and an off-court distraction that Morant himself admitted was not conducive to what the goal of the Grizzlies franchise is – winning a championship.
Morant sought counseling during his time away from the team several months ago and said he was still going through that process throughout the end of the Memphis season. Now, Ja again finds himself in hot water with the Grizzlies, and likely the NBA at large, for a similar poor decision.
More details surely will come forward as the league reviews the incident. Any potential legal issues will also be further elaborated on (although in Tennessee open carry laws are present). But regardless of the law, this will be another loss for Morant in the court of public opinion – and perhaps more importantly, with sponsors and fans/members of the Grizzlies organization.
Stick with GBB/BCM as this situation unfolds and throughout the offseason.

He has cost himself millions already and I won’t blame him for the Grizzlies’ early playoff exit but the drama he has brought definitely impacted the team the last 2 months in a negative way. You have to wonder what’s going on in his life that’s making him behave this way. This isn’t the Ja who got drafted and came in eating chicken wings who everybody loved. I don’t know what made him change and want to be this way. But it’s just infuriating to see this supremely talented player, the best Memphis has ever seen be going around this circle.
Hypocrisy…hypocrics all in the name of Tennessee law. Why pass a bill into law and it’s double standards! The world need an overhaul of “ALL” political offices!!! Enough is enough. Stupid laws stupid people!
CHANGE these GUN laws… take them all…ALL of them. Live by the sword you’ll die by the sword. Just take all these gun…just take ‘em!!! If you need a gun rent it out, leave driver’s license…return them and get your license back! Don’t need a degree to figure this out!!! Even a child can see and understand! Dang!!!!!!!
Coach Jenkins needs to be shown the door.
It all starts at the top with culture and accountability. The coach needs to have a positive influence and be effective in guiding the team and setting standards to follow.Taylor Jenkins has failed in that respect.
Getting bounced in the first round after getting bounced in the second last season shows a regression. Memphis will not get any better with him at the wheel.
I said at GBB that Morant was heading for a fall and needed to learn humility, patience and gratitude. He was never gonna learn that from Jenkins.
Phoenix have fired Monty Williams for less, Toronto the same with Nurse. Its time Jenkins was fired too.
Seriously, who thinks we’re gonna make some noise in the playoffs next season with Taylor at the helm ?…Not me!
…and don’t be surprised if Ja fully self implodes for lack of a coach he or the rest of the team can respect.
Oh and there is also Coach Bud looking for a job too.
Between Bud, Nurse and Monty there’s more than enough choices better than Jenkins.
This dude is just damn stupid and simple minded… what in Sam hell is he trying to prove?? Sit yourself down somewhere and let your talent speak for itself!!!!!
