With Javon Ivory now in the transfer portal also, Memphis has lost three major contributors from the 2022 season in rapid succession. Star tight end Caden Prieskorn, starting defensive tackle CamRon Jackson and Ivory are all headed elsewhere. Reserve wideout Cameron Wright also announced on Thursday that he is leaving the program.
In his career at Memphis, Ivory has 98 receptions for 1,355 yards and eight touchdowns. The 6-foot-1 wideout has appeared in 32 games over the last three seasons for the Tigers.
During the 2022 season, Ivory had career highs in receptions (46) and yards (586). Needless to say, it’s been a rough day for Ryan Silverfield and the staff.
