Memphis 901 FC Signs Multi-Year Local Broadcast Deal

Memphis 901 FC announced on Friday that the team has partnered with WMC Action News 5 for a multi-year local television broadcast deal.

As part of the deal, all Memphis 901 FC games will be available for people in the Memphis area to watch. On over the air TV they can be found on WMC 5.3. For those with Comcast the games will be on channel 907. Games can also be found on the Actions News 5 app on Apple, Roku, and Amazon Fire. Finally, all games will be streamed on the Actions News 5 website.

“We’re very happy to have our local broadcast partner for the season,” 901 FC President Craig Unger said. It’s important to us that our community can follow every minute of every match for the rest of the season as the club competes for a trophy. This partnership makes that possible.”

The first three USL home games for 901 FC this year did not have a local broadcast option, and instead were only available on ESPN+.

“We are thrilled to once again partner with 901 FC,” said Jonathan Mitchell, Vice President, and General Manager of Action News 5. “Broadcasting these games locally on Action News 5 Plus will further bolster the already passionate fanbase across Memphis and the Mid-South. Supporting professional soccer in Memphis is a point of pride for us, and we eagerly anticipate watching this team bring a championship home to our city.”

The first game for this new broadcast deal will be on Saturday night at 7pm as Memphis 901 FC hosts Monterey Bay down at AutoZone Park. Tickets are on sale now.
