The 2024 schedule for Memphis 901 FC has been released and it contains a big surprise. Due to the additions of two new teams in the Eastern Conference (expansion side Rhode Island FC and USL League One team North Carolina FC) Memphis 901 FC will spend 2024 in the Western Conference of the USL Championship.
Like last year, Memphis 901 FC opens the season with back to back home games before hitting the road. The season kicks off on March 9 with 901 FC playing host to Las Vegas Lights down at AutoZone Park before playing Indy Eleven the following weekend.

Attendance for 901 FC games in 2023 was the lowest in team history. Many fans will be hoping that the combination of new opponents and only two Wednesday night games will lead to better crowds in 2023. It’s also worth noting that the two new teams in the Eastern Conference have to come to Memphis this season, instead of the other way around.
Additionally, there is only a single month-long stretch without a 901 FC home game, whereas it felt like the 2023 season had several long stretches between home games. That gap this year falls between the June 28 game against Phoenix Rising and the July 27 game against San Antonio FC.

With road trips to California, Virginia, Alabama, Florida, Texas, Nevada, Michigan, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Colorado, Kentucky, Arizona, and New Mexico, 901 FC figures to rack up quite a few frequent flier miles.
Memphis 901 FC may have been moved to the Western Conference, but the path to that first-ever USL Championship title is the same as it was in 2023. At the end of the regular season, the top eight teams in each conference will advance to the USL Playoffs which are slated to begin on the weekend of November 1-3. The playoff format is a single elimination bracket.
