Memphis guard Johnathan Lawson enters transfer portal
Johnathan Lawson expected to leave Memphis.

Despite a potentially expanded role for the 2023 season, Memphis guard Johnathan Lawson has entered the transfer portal. The initial story was reported by 24/7 High School Hoops and confirmed by BCM.
During the 2022 season, Lawson averaged 3.4 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game and shot 41 percent from three. Lawson was the Tigers best three-point shooter left on the team after the departure of Keonte Kennedy.
