On Tuesday, the Tigers’ hot recruiting streak continued with the commitment of three-star WR prospect Brady Kluse. A high-upside talent who was discovered early by the Memphis coaching staff, Kluse received an offer from Memphis back in March and has been on campus several times since his initial contact with the Tigers. Holding over 20 offers, Kluse selected Memphis over Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, UNC Charlotte, and others. He is a big, impressive target who will undoubtedly receive more collegiate interest between now and early signing day.
As a junior in high school, Kluse put up a gaudy stat line of 66 catches for 1,033 yards (15.6 YPC) and 13 TDs. Standing at 6’3’ 195 pounds, Kluse would be among the biggest receivers on the Tigers roster if he were able to enroll today. The Harrison, Georgia native is a multisport athlete who also plays baseball and participates in track and field events. As if his accolades on the football field weren’t enough, Kluse set a school record in Triple Jump with a 45’8” effort as a junior.
Kluse becomes the sixth overall commitment in the 2024 class and the second Memphis pledge to come from the State of Georgia. Kluse’s commitment was one that Bluff City Media writers told our insiders was a strong possibility on June 16th. Be sure to join our Discord group to find out who may be the next domino to fall.
