Penny Hardaway and the staff made a massive addition to the roster on Tuesday afternoon. CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein broke the news that former Louisiana center Jordan Brown committed to the Tigers.
Last season, Brown averaged 19.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game and led Louisiana to the NCAA Tournament. Memphis fans have been clamoring for a true center all offseason, and they certainly got rewarded for their patience in a big way.
With Temple transfer Nick Jourdain already in the fold for Memphis, the front court now looks very promising with the addition of Brown. Memphis is also attempting to bring back DeAndre Williams, which would give the Tigers one of the best front courts in the country.
