Memphis Women’s and Men’s Soccer Teams Announce Spring Schedules

There may not be anything like an NCAA Tournament berth or an AAC championship on the line, but there is still some spring soccer to be played by the women’s and men’s teams at the University of Memphis.

Each respective Tigers team announced their spring schedule this week and they both feature plenty of home games. Three of the six Tigers women’s spring games will be played at the Billy Murphy Track & Soccer Stadium while all of the Tigers men’s games will be played at the Billy Murphy Track & Soccer Stadium.

Here are the six games the Tigers women’s team is set to play in the 2025 spring season.

One of the things that jumps out is that the Tigers women’s team has three games against teams from the SEC. They get a home and home with Ole Miss and go on the road to face a Mississippi State team that went to the Sweet Sixteen of last year’s NCAA Tournament before falling to Notre Dame.

Memphis of course, won the AAC regular season title but fell to East Carolina in the AAC Tournament Final and was snubbed out of a seventh straight NCAA Tournament appearance despite posting a record of 13-2-4 (W-L-D).

But this spring season could help the Tigers figure out how to replace a pair of their best players from last season that have now signed professional contracts: Sarah Hagg with Valencia in Spain and Momo Nakao with Celtic in Scotland.

Here are the spring games for the Tigers men’s teams.

The Tigers men’s team gets all home games. Perhaps the most interesting thing about their spring schedule is that they have two double-headers: April 5 against Ouachita and Montevallo and then April 12 against Union and Jones. It’s also worth noting that April 12 figures to actually be a triple-header out at the Billy Murphy Track & Soccer Stadium as not only is the men’s team playing two games but the women’s team hosts Ole Miss.

Like the women’s team, the Tigers men’s team won the AAC regular season title last year but failed to make the NCAA Tournament, which would have been a program record third straight appearance.
