It was officially announced Sunday morning that former NBA swingman Rodney Hood had signed a deal with the Memphis Hustle.
Hood was last active between the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers in the 2021–22 NBA season, where he averaged 3.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in roughly 14 minutes a game.
In his career, Hood has been a very versatile scorer off the bench, averaging 10.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, and 1.6 rpg, even playing alongside LeBron James in the 2018 NBA Finals. He will bring solid scoring, veteran leadership, and a wide range of basketball experience to a young and growing Hustle squad.
