The Memphis football recruiting momentum doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. After landing four commits over the last three days, Ryan Silverfield and the staff now have another new addition to the 2023 class.
Three-star wide receiver Harvey Broussard – who was on campus for an official visit this weekend – is Memphis’ newest commit. Broussard is currently ranked as the No. 868 overall player and No. 113 overall receiver in the class. At 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds, Broussard will bring elite size at the receiver position for the Tigers.
Broussard currently holds offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Florida and Kansas State among others, so he is clearly a major addition for Memphis. With the commitment from Broussard, Memphis’ class jumped up two spots from No. 63 to No. 61 overall according to 247Sports’ Team Rankings.
The three-star is now Memphis’ third highest-rated commit in the class behind linebacker Karmelo Overton and three-star athlete Javious Bond.
