TJ makes his return to the show after a week in the North Star State.
TJ and Trey start off the show discussing the end of the regular season for the Tiger football team. After a torrid start to the season, the Tigers lost 5 of their last 7 games to end the year. Most of these losses were either one possession or last possession losses. In fact, the Tigers could have been 10-2 on the season if they had won their one possession games instead of losing them. The guys then talk about the Tigers’ 2023 recruiting class, and the success that Ryan Silverfield and his staff is having in that arena. The Tigers have secured big time commitments from high school and are active in the transfer portal.
In the second segment, TJ and Trey transition to Tiger basketball and the upcoming gauntlet of SEC opponents they will face off against. They discuss the recent shooting slump that Kendric Davis is experiencing for the Tigers. They are not concerned by his slump because of the impact his presence on the court has for the team as a whole.
To end the show, TJ and Trey give their predictions on Memphis versus Auburn and Alabama and who they believe will need to step up to help the Tigers in these Quad One games.
