Curtis Givens III is a popular name around Memphis and on the NIKE EYBL circuit, as he’s commanded Mokan Elite’s offense. He’s a great “connector” piece and a true “floor general.” During EYBL’s Memphis Session, Givens averaged 16.9 PPG and 3.6 APG. He looked extremely comfortable in the halfcourt and put on a very solid overall display of talent. Givens is ranked No. 52 overall and the No. 5 overall point guard in the 247Sports 2024 rankings.
Givens is one of my favorite players in the class. He’s not too flashy or extremely athletic; however, he exhibits traits of someone that is capable of being the “connector” for a successful, high-level program.
In a recent conversation with Hitmen Hoops, Givens disclosed that he plans to visit LSU in late July. Hitmen Scouts on Twitter also announced that he plans to take visits to Texas, Indiana and Villanova. And for his last visit, Givens says that he plans to visit Memphis, which is an extremely good sign for the Tigers’ chances with the talented guard.
