On this week’s episode, the Starting 5 began the show discussing the off-court issues for Ja Morant. He has made news for mostly all the wrong reasons recently and will be away from the team for the foreseeable future.
In the next segment, the Starting 5 discuss the news of Brandon Clarke tearing his Achilles and what it means for the team as they make their playoff push. His injury is even bigger when considering he might be out all of the next season too.
To close the show, the Starting 5 discussed the lack of late-game execution from the Grizzlies in close games. It is a recurring theme and with the playoffs near they must be corrected sooner rather than later.
