Arkansas transfer Marcus Henderson commits to Memphis

Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield and the staff have made another transfer portal addition. Former Arkansas offensive lineman Marcus Henderson committed to the Tigers on Sunday afternoon.
Henderson played in five games during his freshman season (primarily on special teams), and he redshirted in 2021 after playing two games. The 6-foot-5, 303-pound offensive lineman was injured in 2022 and didn’t see any playing time.
Coming out of Memphis University School, Henderson was a four-star prospect and rated as the No. 15 overall guard in the country. Henderson was listed as the backup center for the Razorbacks last year, so he has position versatility on the offensive line.
Silverfield and the staff have made the offensive line a priority this offseason as they have added Henderson, LSU transfer Xavier Hill, Georgia Tech transfer RJ Adams and JUCO offensive lineman Chris Morris among others.
