JUCO wide receiver Marcello Bussey commits to Memphis

Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield and the staff have prioritized both junior college transfers and Division 1 transfers, and they added another JUCO prospect on Monday. Hutchinson Community College wideout Marcello Bussey announced via Twitter that he is committed to Memphis.
Bussey played alongside the No. 1 overall JUCO player – Malik Benson – and was second on the team in receptions with 44. The 6-foot, 179-pound wide receiver finished his sophomore season with 44 catches for 455 yards and three touchdowns.
The Tigers also have two other Hutchinson players committed for 2023 in offensive lineman Chris Morris and tight end Jamauri Chislom.
