Memphis basketball adds JUCO transfer Felipe Patino
Memphis basketball has its second member of the 2025-26 roster.
Eastern Florida guard Felipe Patino is committed to the Tigers, and will join the team next season, he announced Friday.
Patino, a 6-foot-4 freshman, is averaging 11.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting 51.1% from the field and 50% from 3-point range (6 attempts per game) this year. The Titans (10-2) are currently ranked No. 24 in the NJCAA Division I National Poll.
The Mississauga, Ontario native played his last two high school campaigns at Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy (North Carolina). Patino is of both Canadian and Colombian descent.
Overtime Elite guard Daniel Vieira-Tuck is also joining Memphis next year. Current scholarship players like PJ Haggerty, Baraka Okojie, Jared Harris and Bouna Kebe can all return next season.
Memphis still has up to seven scholarships available for 2025-26 if all of its eligible players come back.
