The Memphis Hustle battled out the Salt Lake City Stars for the second time in three days, with Memphis looking to get payback and reclaim the feeling of victory. Luckily for Memphis, the Adonis Arms and Deeky Jarreau show was still in full effect, as Arms netted his seventh straight game of 20+ points, including eight of his last nine, with a 28-point performance, and Jarreau popped off for a 25-point, 19 rebound, and 13 assist tripe-double to lead the team to victory. The Hustle did a great job correcting mistakes, establishing a rhythm early, and keeping the game close and in control through all four quarters. The Hustle officially landed back at the .500 mark as they are now 10-10 in the regular season.

The Hustle were coming off a tough Tuesday night loss versus this same Stars team as they played their first game on the road in nearly a month. The team didn’t play particularly bad, but they did get outplayed on both sides, especially in part to former Hustle Jason Preston wheeling and dealing his way to a triple-double, a feat he almost repeated Friday evening with a 22-point, 12-rebound, and 9-assist showing. The Stars also got a 34-point bomb from Johnny Juzang and a 21-point outing from Romeo Langford, yet it was not enough to hang with Hustle in this one.

The Hustle were ignited by the fuel of revenge after losing a rough one in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, and they proved it. Coming into this one short Matthew Hurt, Loudon Love filled his shoes and even went off for his career high of 20 points in this one, joining Arms and Jarreau as the only three guys to notch over 20 on the evening for the Hustle. Rodney Hood also made his Hustle and G League debut with five points in eight miutes. It was a very solid showcase from Memphis on both sides of the ball, as they played very good offense and very organized defense on the evening, not allowing anything easy for Salt Lake on either side of the floor.

This brings the Hustle back to the even mark on the season, currently sitting at the 10th seed in the West while only being two games out of the eighth spot with a record of 10-10 on the regular season. A very impressive feat considering all the team has been through this season.
