In the first ever episode of On the Bluff, hosts Kenny Stubblefield and Christian Fowler discuss the start of the 2022-23 season for the Memphis Tigers’ basketball team.
Christian and Kenny break down the six commitments Penny has secured for the 2023 season, specifically breaking down the games of Mikey Williams and Ty-laur Johnson. Penny has shifted multiple times in his strategy for recruiting and Christian breaks down Penny’s thought processes and what he is trying to build at Memphis.
Christian and Kenny then discuss the opening two months of games that the Tigers have this season. Fans will know a lot about the Tigers after the month of December, and both Kenny and Christian believe this schedule will prepare the Tigers for post season play.
In the second segment, Kenny and Christian discuss the last two games of the Memphis Tigers football season. They discuss the importance of the North Alabama game in helping the Tigers achieve bowl eligibility.
