The Hustle were back and live from the Landers Center this evening to face off against the Cleveland Charge for their second to last home game of the season. Memphis came into the Thursday night matchup having lost seven straight games and was in desperate need of a bounce-back victory. The road started off a little rocky but the Hustle battled out and successfully ran off with a beautiful come from behind victory.

Cleveland jumped out to an early lead in this matchup, jumping out by as many as 14 points mid-way through the second quarter before squandering the lead to a Hustle team that came out red hot after a cold first half. Isaiah Mobley led the Charge’s efforts in scoring with 24 to go along with eight rebounds on the game. The Charge were held to below 30% shooting from three and gave up 16 turnovers for 20 points, highlighting the turn this game took in the second half after starting out in complete control.

Memphis did a great job of recovering from a tough start in this one and maintained great composure coming into the second half despite being in a hole from not playing particularly well. Six Hustle players scored for double-digits this evening with Adonis Arms and Matthew Hurt leading the team with 21 points. Arms added on with five assists and five boards while Hurt tagged on 10 boards. The Hustle did a great job of responding and making adjustments to contain the Charge in the second half, making them look like a completely different team than the one who had them down big early on. It was a great bounce back victory for the team.

The Hustle will resume action versus the Stockton Kings on Tuesday afternoon for the final game home game of the season. The tip will be live from the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi, at 7:00 p.m. The game will be available for viewing at ESPN+.
