Penny Hardaway receives three-game suspension from NCAA for recruiting violations
Memphis Tiger HC Penny Hardaway suspended for first 3 games of 2023-24 year after recruiting violations

On Wednesday morning, the NCAA held a Zoom meeting to discuss violations in the Memphis Basketball program, per Adam Zagoria.
Memphis HC Penny Hardaway received a three-game suspension. Hardaway will miss the following games: vs Jackson State, @Missouri, and vs. Alabama State.
The University of Memphis athletic department released a statement shortly after the news. According to the statement, Hardaway “exercised his right to work directly with the NCAA” on a violation that occurred in program during the 2021-22 academic year.
